John Cacioppo passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Staten Island University Hospital North surrounded by his loving family. John was born on November 25, 1930 in Harlem and then lived in the Bronx and Brooklyn and had been living at the home of his daughter and son in-law, Jackie and Tommy Acciarello, since 2011. He was the beloved husband of Grace (D’Angelo) who passed away in 2011, the brother of Albert (deceased), Angelo and Frances Guidotti. He was an avid New York Mets and Giants fan and loved watching movies. He is also survived by his son Sal, daughter in-law, Susan, granddaughter, Brianna, whom he started babysitting when she was ten weeks old, and grandsons Matthew and Sam. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
